Maryjane Osa, PhD, an author and educator, founded Lake Mountain Feng Shui in 2007. After years of helping college students succeed, Dr. Osa now helps clients to create harmonious spaces that support their personal development.

Maryjane brings to bear a high level of experience and training. Besides her doctorate in sociology, she is a certified feng shui practitioner through the Feng Shui Institute of America. Dr. Osa has furthered her training by earning additional certification in Feng Shui Interior Design from Mary Dennis at the New England School of Feng Shui and earning the ASP (Association of Staging Professionals) designation as a professional home stager. She achieved Red Ribbon professional status from the International Feng Shui Guild and is an active member of the Chicago chapter of IFSG. She continues to expand her knowledge and practice of feng shu through her consultations, public lectures, and writing.

Dr. Osa has been a student of the I Ching for thirty years; over the last several years she has studied intensively with Carol Anthony and Hanna Moog at the I Ching Institute in Stow, Massachusetts. Her training  includes professional courses on counseling others with the aid of the I Ching.
